To monitor, co-ordinate and plan specific fire safety programmes for Singapore's industrial sectors, especially those in high fire hazard activities and processes.

Produce publications eg. fire safety handbooks for supervisors and middle management of industrial premises, posters and brochures on industrial fire safety, video tapes on fire safety management in the workplaces.

Organise Fire Safety Seminars to promote fire safety awareness and provide a platform for exchange in knowledge and experiences between the authorities and professionals in the industry.

Organise fire prevention banner competitions at the workplaces.

Fire safety talks and training courses / seminars on statutory fire requirements and reporting for the industrial community viz. supervisors, technical and fire safety workers in the industry.
