The
NFEC Schools and Youth Committee organized the “On-the-Spot
Art Competition” for Secondary 1 and 2 students (Category
A) and Primary 4 to 6 pupils (Category B-D) on the 23 May
2009 at Clementi Primary School. The objective of the competition
is to create greater awareness of fire prevention and civil
emergency preparedness among the students through the use
of art.
The theme for this year’s competition is “Ever
Ready for Emergencies”. A total of around 80 students
participated in the competition and attractive book and sports
vouchers worth a total of close to $4000 were given away as
prizes!
