Banyan Fire Station Starts Operation in Jurong Island Today

The Banyan Fire Station commenced its operations from a modern, purpose-built building located along Banyan Road, Jurong Island at 8.00am today. Banyan Fire Station, which sits on a land area of 5000 square metres, comes with state-of-the-art fire-fighting and rescue equipment and also includes parking areas for emergency vehicles, stores for operational equipment, office space and training facilities.

NFEC Fire Safety and Civil Emergency Preparedness Seminar 2009

The Seminar "Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness - Towards the Next Level" was held on the 3rd Aug 2009, Monday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm at Concorde 2 (Level 3), Concorde Hotel Singapore. The 1-day event is targeted at fire safety managers, fire safety practitioners, safety officers and all those who have a role or interest in contributing toward enhancing fire safety standards. NFEC "On-The-Spot Art Competition" 2009

The NFEC Schools and Youth Committee organized the “On-the-Spot Art Competition” for students at Clementi Primary School. The theme for this year’s competition is “Ever Ready for Emergencies”. A total of around 80 students participated in the competition and attractive book and sports vouchers worth a total of close to $4000 were given away as prizes!
