The Fire Safety Seminar 2008, a full-day seminar organised by the National Fire and Civil Emergency Preparedness Council (NFEC), was held on 13th August 2008 for fire safety practitioners at the Furama Riverfront Hotel. One of the key components of this annual event is the interactive workshop session. For 2008, participants were equipped and updated on good fire safety and emergency preparedness practices and also information on harnessing technology for fire safety and emergency preparedness, and the CERT scheme.
